Our History

Sterling Property Management began in 2006, when Will Sterling, originally hired as a temp to handle CAM reconciliations for Lynn Stockman, discovered a genuine passion for property management. What started as a short-term job quickly became a long-term calling built on problem-solving and helping people.

In 2015, Daniel Vorhies joined the company after a similar start as a temporary office manager for a commercial real estate firm. The two quickly realized they shared the same values: integrity, hard work, and the belief that strong relationships are the heart of good business.

Since then, Sterling has grown almost entirely through word of mouth and reputation, earning the trust of property owners and tenants throughout Monterey County. With over 30 years of combined real estate experience, Will and Daniel continue to do what they love most: building lasting relationships and maintaining first-class living and working environments for their clients.
